There are numerous tasks you can carry out on a computer without having to use a specialized utility. However, most of them involve complicated commands, and it's quite easy to get something wrong. A better solution is sys_minion, which issues these commands for you. Originally designed for OEM driver cleanup, this lightweight utility can help you execute many other tasks, like analyzing and cleaning the system component store, checking for corrupt components, enabling the legacy boot menu, and performing many other operations that usually take some time to prepare.

The application is compatible with all modern Windows systems, including Win 10, and it provides full support for both 32 and 64-bit versions. It comes in a ZIP archive, and you only need to extract its components, without installing anything on your system. There are no special requirements you have to meet, and you can run it even with obsolete hardware.

As previously suggested, sys_minion is essentially a series of system commands, which you can issue at a moment's notice, without having to type them in the command prompt. All you have to do is select an operation, click a button and the application will send the appropriate command.

When you click a button to issue a command, the application won't carry out the entire task for you. It still gives you control over the process and lets you decide what should be cleaned or deactivated, so you don't have to worry about removing something important by accident. In some cases, the application may take some time to scan objects, but once it's done, you may complete the rest of the operation with a single click.
